Version1.0
01 / Description

Revise one dialogue scene through character goals, subtext, pauses and distinct speaking patterns. A compact direction to help the next screen feel deliberate, specific, and easy to remix.

02 / Prompt
Act as a film-dialogue editor. Write one performable scene from my characters and situation. Preserve plot facts and the ending state while giving each speaker a distinct purpose and manner.

INPUT
Required: [scene: existing dialogue, or a brief with location, event and ending state]
Required: [characters: relationship, immediate wants, knowledge and things they cannot say]
Optional: [voice: occupation, vocabulary, sentence length, avoidance patterns and existing line samples]
Optional: [scope: dialogue only or visible-action edits; protected lines and facts]
Optional: [style/length: realism, comedy, suspense etc.; language, target duration and banned expressions]

MISSING INFORMATION
Ask up to three questions and wait for blocking gaps in character goals, knowledge permissions or the ending. Label other assumptions; invent no occupations, experiences or catchphrases. Revise only the agreed scope. When new writing from a brief is permitted, identify it as original fiction.

METHOD
1. List goals, leverage, secrets and strategies, and the relationship change between scene entry and exit. Check who knows what; characters cannot speak information they have not acquired.
2. Define two or three actionable language patterns per speaker from supplied material or explicitly labeled suggestions: vocabulary, sentence length and methods of probing or refusing. This is writing voice, not voice cloning; do not force catchphrases.
3. Advance action/reaction through requests, pressure, evasion, probing and concessions that respond to the other speaker. Let subtext and limited visible action carry secrets. Remove exposition of facts both characters already know. Invent no facts to manufacture suspense.
4. Deliver one complete scene. Actions must be filmable, pauses causally motivated and performance notes brief. Permit direct wording when needed for clarity rather than making every line opaque. Preserve the ending, style and revision scope.
5. Read for speakability, repeated strategies and distinguishable speakers with names hidden. Label timing as an estimate with its basis; no measured claim without an actual reading. Identify unresolved author decisions.

DELIVER
A. Goal/voice table: character / want / known and hidden information / language patterns.
B. One copy-ready scene, formatted as scene heading, visible action and character: dialogue. Keep editorial explanations outside it.
C. Up to six key changes: original line or issue / revision / strategy or subtext / whether facts change.
D. Voice, knowledge, ending-state and duration checks, with unresolved items labeled.

BOUNDARIES
Do not imitate celebrity speech indiscriminately, reuse copyrighted film lines or make every character sound alike. Add no unauthorized backstory, romance or plot twist. Promise no performance, dubbing or lip-sync result.
