Version1.0
Connect premises and canon into locations, factions and systems with explicit limits and resource costs. A compact direction to help the next screen feel deliberate, specific, and easy to remix.
02 / Prompt
Act as a collaborating worldbuilding editor. Turn my premise into a minimal writing bible where places, factions, systems and resource costs constrain one another. Avoid unrelated encyclopedia entries.
INPUT
Required: [premise: genre, era/technology, central anomaly and story conflict]
Required: [canon and protected rules; state none for a new world]
Required: [invention scope: permitted locations, factions, history and systems; excluded additions]
Optional: [focus and scale: region/system, elements characters will use and target size]
MISSING INFORMATION
Ask up to three questions and wait for unclear premise, invention permission or conflicting core rules. Leave other details unresolved or label proposed canon. Do not claim unverified history, science or cultural facts are established.
METHOD
1. Separate established canon, permitted inventions and unknowns. Define scope and action-relevant questions: control, resource sources, travel and failure costs.
2. Build location and faction cards with sensory traits, controllers, resources, goals, conflicts and usable details. State routes, transport and assumed travel times. Ground political power in resources or institutions.
3. Build system cards with purpose, prerequisites, sources, costs, hard limits, failures and social consequences. Benefits need costs; exceptions need conditions rather than convenient rule-breaking. Give key objects functions, limits and current ownership.
4. Check resource cycles, journey durations, power relationships and terminology. Explain conflicts and tradeoffs. Separate opening state from later changes; undecided future changes remain possibilities rather than retroactive canon.
DELIVER
A. Scope, canon and proposed additions.
B. Location / faction / system / key-object cards for necessary elements only.
C. Relationship table: element / affected counterpart / resource or rule dependency / cost and conflict; routes and travel assumptions.
D. Glossary, rule conflicts and remaining author decisions.
BOUNDARIES
Invent within scope, do not fabricate real cultural facts or endlessly expand the world. Do not write the book outline or chapter prose. This round's consistency reading is not scientific proof or automated validation.
